Confirmation

Our confirmation program is being revamped. We are joining up with Messiah, St. Mark’s, Sherwood Park, St. Luke/Zion, Grace, Abundant Life/Prince of Peace, Epiphany and Gloria Dei. The new program is a three-year model, composed of two 8-week blocks per year, with one year spent on each of the following: Old Testament, New Testament, and Lutheran Theology/Living.  This year will focus on the New Testament during our regular classes, with the Synod Winter Retreat having an Old Testament focus.  We hope that subsequent Winter Retreats can serve as a review period for the material covered in the previous year.

This means students going into Grade 7 as well as students going into Grade 8 will be the first ones enrolled in the new program. Registration forms will be available on Welcome Back Sunday September 10^th, as well as being emailed to our current list of students.
