Sunday is Pick-Your-Own-Hymn Sunday. During the time of Welcome, Pastor Chris will be offering a chance for some of you to choose one of the hymns that we will be singing today. We will need a total of 7 hymns so please be certain to speak up quickly and clearly when he requests the number of your favorite hymn.
Fifth Book Bonanza -Sunday Oct. 30th & Nov. 6, 2016
What is a Book Bonanza? A Book Bonanza is an opportunity for everyone in the congregation to enjoy a book exchange. If you have a book or books that you are ready to pass on, please bring them to church on or before Sunday, October 30th and place them on the tables provided in the Narthex. These books then, are there for the taking, before and after service on that Sunday and the next Sunday. Anyone can help themselves to the books on the table, whether they have brought in books to share or not. Bring kids books as well as adult books, fiction as well as nonfiction, inspirational books, and the classics. Please do not bring encyclopedias and text books. Any books that have not found a new home will be delivered to the Fire Hall to be donated to the Children’s Hospital Book drive. The Book Bonanza will again be hosted by Book Club members.
