December Special Appeal: Canadian Lutheran World Relief
The tables have been set up in the Narthex. Please sign up for food items or gifts for 23 families we have committed to support. Gifts should be into the church by Sunday, Dec 4th and food items by Dec 11th. Thank you for your support!
Advent Devotional Books
We invite you to use the devotional booklets (in the narthex) to reflect on the ADVENTure of the season! Noted television and radio speaker Dr. Dale Meyer invites us on the ADVENTure of our lives in these daily devotions for Advent that beckon us to treasure, much as Mary did, the special moments in the presence of Christ as we prepare to celebrate his birth.
The Wednesday Fellowship Group is in need of new or gently used fabric or sheets for the making of quilts. Donations can be dropped off in the Blue Room. Thank you.
Bake Sale Sunday
Morning Glories will be holding a Bake Sale Sunday Dec 4. Dainties will be $20.00 per tray.
Proceeds will go to the youth to help with expenses for the CLAY gathering in Thunder Bay in 2018 as well as other Church Missions.

St. Vital Interfaith Habitat Project
The video being shown this Sunday was sponsored by the MNO Synod of ELCIC and produced by Ice River Films. In addition to paying for the film production, the MNO Synod made a substantial donation to the cost of the project. The Faith Habitat committee wants to thank them and all the generous people at Faith who contributed financially and in any other way towards this effort. Contact the office if you wish a copy of the video.
Christmas Eve Altar Flowers
Families wishing to place flowers on the altar for the Christmas Eve services can do so by designating offering donations of $25 to “Christmas Flowers” on or before December 11th. Please include a note indicating if the flowers are placed in memory of someone, or in thanksgiving for someone/thing.
(Please do not bring flowers/plants due to allergies.)
During Advent, we invite you to hang an ornament on the Christmas Tree in the entrance of the sanctuary in memory of a loved one. (These ornaments can be picked up after Christmas.)
