Come Join Us!

Did you miss the first session of our discussion group based on the video series “NOOMA”? That’s okay – come join us Thursday March 15 at 7:30 p.m. This week’s discussion is entitled: Today. Can we become so consumed with the past that we can’t see the beauty of today? How much time and energy do we spend wishing things were how they used to be? We often think about times in our past when things were different and want our lives to be like that again. Some of us have even come to believe that our best days may actually be behind us. But if we’re in some way hung up on the past, what does that mean for our lives now? Maybe we need to learn to embrace our past for what it is, in order to live our lives to the fullest, right here, right now.

Lent Worship at Faith:

Wednesday Lenten Services—weekly until April 5

Soup & Bread at 5:30 pm

Drama & Holden Evening Prayer at 7 pm

This Lenten season Faith Players will be presenting “Did You Hear About?” a series written by Faith Player’s very own Mark Essenburg. These worship dramas depict the gospel stories from the people who would have
witnessed the events and shared the stories as they happened. This week hear about: – What happened at the Well with Doris Essenburg and Natalie Essenburg.

Come One, Come All! Our goal this year is to have at least 60 people singing the “Hallelujah Chorus” on Easter morning during our 60th anniversary year. Rehearsals will be at 9:30 on March 26 (in the music room) and April 2 (in the sanctuary) so come join the choir for the practice. See you then!
