This Week at Faith December 31 – January 7

Sunday is Pick-Your-Own-Carol Sunday. During the time of Welcome, Deacon Kris will be offering a chance for some of you to choose one of the carols that we will be singing today. Warm Up To Winnipeg Fundraiser

On January 14th, our upcoming Potluck Sunday, you have the opportunity to make a difference in someone’s world (without ever leaving the building!) by supporting “Warm Up To Winnipeg”, an initiative of Grands ‘n’ More Winnipeg. This is how it works:

  • A Grands ‘n’ More volunteer knits a scarf
  • You contribute the value of the scarf ($5.00/child item or $10.00/adult item) to the Stephen Lewis Foundation, in support of African Grandmothers raising their grandchildren orphaned by AIDS
  • Grands ‘n’ More gives the scarf to Welcome Place for a refugee newly arrived in Winnipeg

These scarves will be “on sale” in the narthex before and after worship on January 14th! (Please note – cash or cheques only)
