The programs that have been established, help to reach out and serve people who are having financial and spiritual difficulties. As a 'caring and nurturing' church, we need to continue to guide and support these types of programs, as well as look for new opportunities to serve so that the vision is not lost.

Confirmation Program

Confirmation ministry is an educational ministry of our church that seeks to help the baptized young person grow in their understanding of the Christian faith and life, using the Bible and Luther's Small Catechism as the main resources. We meet for a number of age-appropriate sessions in the Grade 3-Grade 11 years.

Men's Breakfast Group

Group members are encouraged to be active in the life of the congregation and the community. This is done through or discussions/study and by the general awareness of our duties and responsibilities as Christians.

Our time together also allows us to discuss issues that are
of common interest as men and as Christians in the church and community where we live and work.

We also discuss issues of the day, issues at work, congregational issues and others of interest. Participants are given validation, advice or support as we deal with these issues.

Morning Glories (Faith Evangelical Lutheran Women)

Morning Glories (Faith ELW) is a place where women in our church and our community can come to be fed, nourished and enjoy some Sabbath time with each other and then go out to serve and minister to those among us and around us. We do this by meeting on the first Saturday of the month for breakfast and Bible study. Always a part of our discussion is how we can live out our faith in our homes, our church, our community and the world. We struggle together with God's call for our lives and how we can serve, especially women in our world who are in need of God's love. Come and see how being in God's Word can help you discern your call to serve.

Refugee Sponsorship Group

Refugee sponsorship enables people without a home to find one. It is our way of reaching out to people in another part of our world and providing them with a means of finding a supportive and caring community. We have focused on helping families bring relatives to Canada. This is not difficult work since family members here provide most of the support. However, it still takes sponsors like us to facilitate the process.

Resonate

Resonate is the music group that leads the music at all contemporary worship services. We pray that our singing and playing is a blessing and inspiration to all those who attend, and that the music we bring to the services will enhance everyone's worship experience.

The members of our group also provide a ministry to each other through our friendship, prayers and bible meditations.

Faith Camp

Faith camp is a means of providing fun, educational activities during the summer for the very important young people of our congregation as well as a means for introducing our church to the broader community. Both of these things are consistent with the goals of Faith Lutheran, which are to be a church that is relevant and meaningful for our children and youth as well as to attract new comers.

Worship & Music Committee

Our group is important because we are trying to look after the needs of the entire congregation at Faith. It is a very diverse group and meeting everyone's needs can be challenging. We are always looking for ideas on how to make Faith an appealing and user friendly place to worship and find fellowship with others.
