Faith Lutheran Youth
Our Youth Group (FLY) gathers on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month throughout the school year — and every gathering looks a little different.
Some nights mean games, snacks, and plenty of laughter. Other nights we head out into the community — a special event, a service project, or a more focused conversation about faith and everyday life. What stays consistent is our commitment: we create a welcoming place where youth in grades 6–12 can show up as they are, ask real questions about God and build genuine friendships.
Throughout the year, our youth also step into the wider church. They’re invited to synod youth events hosted by other congregations — sometimes on a Youth Group night, sometimes on their own — and to retreats like Luther Village at Thanksgiving.
And every second year, we work toward something bigger: the Canadian Lutheran Anglican Gathering (CLAY). Through fundraisers like Parents Night Out and our Wednesday Soup & Bread suppers, our youth prepare for gatherings like CLAY 2027 in Nanaimo, BC — a week of worship, service, and connection with young Anglicans and Lutherans from across Canada.
New faces are always welcome. Come once, come every week — no commitment required.
