Carried in Grief — A Community Grief Sharing Circle

Grief is one of the most universal human experiences, yet it can also be one of the loneliest. Sometimes, what we need most isn’t advice, answers, or someone to make things better, but simply a space where our grief can be acknowledged, our stories can be witnessed, and we can feel a little less alone.

We are grateful to be introducing Carried in Grief, a new community grief sharing circle at Faith Lutheran Church, co-facilitated by Alysha Angus (Grief Coach) and Sandra Brown Day.

Together, we hope to offer a gentle and welcoming space for anyone grieving the death of someone they love. Whether your loss is recent or many years have passed, there is room for you here.

At the heart of Carried in Grief is the belief that we don’t have to carry the difficult emotions and challenges of grief alone. Through connection, shared lived experience, and compassionate community, we hope to create a space where we can support one another as we navigate life after loss.

There is no expectation to share, no particular way you need to participate, and no timeline for grief. Come as you are, whenever it feels right for you.

Our gatherings are free, drop-in, and open to the wider community. No registration is required.

We begin on Tuesday, November 10, from 7:00–8:30 pm, with daytime gatherings beginning Thursday, November 19, from 1:00–2:30 pm.

📍 Faith Lutheran Church | 1311 Dakota Street, Winnipeg

Please see the poster for additional gathering dates and details. Optional registration is available through the QR code.

Our paths may be different, but we don’t have to walk them alone.
